Bolivar Peninsula’s 27 mile stretch along the upper Texas Gulf Coast is already a popular vacation destination for Texans. But pretty soon the area will have a new hotspot to brag about, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Construction has begun for Bolivar Beach Club & RV resort, which spans 150 acres of beachfront property, and is expected to open early November.
Developer Brad Ballard says it will be an “all-inclusive, one-stop shop” for RV owners with 207 concrete sites with full hookups, lakefront sites, handicap accessible sites, a luxury bathhouse with 16 private bathrooms, a laundry facility, fitness center overlooking the beach and more.
“When you show up on site, you park your RV and you can stay on site,” he said. “You shouldn’t have to leave and deal with traffic at all. We’ll have everything you could possibly need.”
The resort will also feature an entertainment pavilion that will host live concerts, movies in the park, and sports game viewing events, direct access to the beach, Wi-Fi access, an on-site food truck park, arcade, small grocery store, ziplines, kayaks, 64 cabanas and a large resort-style pool with a swim up bar.
Ballard says it’ll have a true resort-style feel. “Everything will be first-class.”
