The Association of RV Park and Campgrounds of Michigan’s (ARVC Michigan) conference is set to wrap up today (March 23) with an expo, lunch, and the announcement of contest winners.
The in-person conference has drawn over three dozen attendees representing 39 parks, according to Greg Katt, the association’s executive director. More park owners were expected to come just to take part in the expo, which features 40 vendors.
The conference is being held in much larger rooms to accommodate for social distancing, while foodservice is being provided by Soaring Eagle staff members that are following all CDC guidelines.
On Monday, the conference featured numerous educational sessions along with an update from the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) on what the association’s priorities are in 2021.
The conference’s auction on Monday evening raised more than $13,000 to help fund scholarships and the association’s lobbying efforts.
