The Northeast Campground Association (NCA) is set to host its 2019 NCA Great Escape from Sept. 17-18 at Point Sebago Resort in Casco, Maine.

The annual event features seven tours of area campgrounds, along with activities including karaoke and beach games, according to Cyndy Zibierski, executive director of the association.

So far, officials from 26 campgrounds are registered and NCA expects about 100 attendees.

“The camping industry in the Northeast is filled with families that have celebrated 50-year anniversaries at their campgrounds, and many new owners that bring business expertise from previous professions,” Zibierski told WOODALLSCM.com. “When we can get these diverse backgrounds together to collaborate at association events, amazing things can happen to improve the quality of the camping experiences provided to guests — making our campgrounds more successful.”

The price to attend is $99 and attendees can camp at Point Sebago Resort at no cost while sites are available or attendees can plan to stay in a rental cabin on site.
