Thirty-two Maine families will enjoy free camping, gift certificates and lessons, courtesy of the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands (BPL) this summer, according to DownEast.com. 

This is the second year for the BPL’s contest aimed at attracting first-time campers. More than 800 people registered to win smores and more this year. 

Previous winners are booking reservations at state parks again this year, according to a press release from the BPL, which touts the program as a success.
