Richard Hanson traveled with his son, Jeff, from Silicon Valley to celebrate Thanksgiving  at Desert Trails RV Park in El Centro, Calif., on Thursday, the Imperial Valley Press reported.
For Richard, it wasn’t a celebration of the holidays but a reunion. He had previously lived at the RV park for 25 years and moved up north in 2011.
“I moved here in 1986 because I had retired, rented an RV, drove around California and found this place,” said the 98-year-old. “I was only visiting for two weeks but this became my home  for the next 25 years. I’ve made so many friends here.”
