From the current issue of the CalARVC News comes the following story about new standards for water use.

Park owners in California and around the country have faced financial challenges from their local water and sewer agencies. In this era of public agency “creative financing,” many RV parks have been assessed astronomical water and sewer assessment fees. Agencies have based RV site water usage and output on residential standards. And while park owners know that RVs don’t consume anywhere near the same amount of water as a residential unit, proving that to agency officials hasn’t been easy.
