Advanced Outdoor Management (AOM), a provider of professional outdoor hospitality operations and general manager training, has announced a landmark alliance with ROAM America, which owns a portfolio of campgrounds, to deliver full-service property management across ROAM America’s network. The partnership will be powered exclusively by RJourney, an advanced campground booking and guest experience platform, creating an unmatched combination of operational excellence, brand reach and technology infrastructure, according to a press release.

“This agreement represents a significant milestone for outdoor hospitality — bringing together three powerhouses whose combined strengths span operations, real estate and technology to deliver an elevated experience for guests, property owners and investors alike,” noted the release.

A Partnership Built for Scale and Excellence

AOM will assume full operational management of ROAM America’s growing portfolio of campgrounds and RV parks spanning multiple states. Under this agreement, AOM will deploy its proven management systems — including staffing, financial oversight, guest experience protocols and GM training programs — across every ROAM America property, ensuring consistent, high-quality operations at scale.

At the heart of the partnership is RJourney, the booking platform purpose-built for the modern outdoor traveler and available exclusively to AOM-managed properties. RJourney’s technology stack delivers real-time data, dynamic pricing, online reservations, guest communication automation, and deep analytics — giving AOM and ROAM America the data and tools to maximize revenue, reduce friction, and build lasting guest loyalty across every property in the portfolio.

“Partnering with ROAM America is a defining moment for Advanced Outdoor Management,” said Rachel Godbout, COO of AOM. “We’ve built our reputation on operational excellence and developing strong leaders, and now we have the portfolio scale and the technology backbone — through RJourney — to deliver that standard at a level this industry hasn’t seen before. This is how you build power and presence in outdoor hospitality.”

RJourney: The Technology Engine Driving the Alliance

The decision to standardize the entire ROAM America portfolio on the RJourney platform was central to the partnership’s strategic vision. RJourney provides a unified guest-facing booking experience across all properties while simultaneously equipping operators and GMs with real-time dashboards, revenue management tools, automated communications and performance reporting that drive smarter, faster decisions, stated the release.

“We’ve been intentional about who we trust to manage our properties, and we feel that AOM was most aligned with our vision,” noted ROAM America. “Their operational rigor, their people-first culture, and their commitment to the guest experience align perfectly with everything ROAM America stands for. Combining that with RJourney’s platform means our guests get an elevated experience from the moment they book to the moment they leave.”

Positioned for National Expansion

The AOM–RJourney platform is structured with aggressive growth in mind. With AOM’s management infrastructure capable of scaling across new acquisitions and ROAM America’s active pipeline of campground investments, the partnership is positioned to rapidly expand its footprint. RJourney’s platform architecture is built to onboard new properties seamlessly, ensuring that growth does not come at the expense of guest quality or operational consistency, stated the release.

“Together, the organizations aim to establish a new benchmark for what professionally managed, technology-enabled campgrounds can deliver — for guests, for property owners, and for the outdoor hospitality industry at large,” according to the release.
