Affinity Group Inc. recently launched RV.net’s RV Expert Blog, http://blog.rv.net, designed to offer a broad range of information about RVing and the outdoor lifestyle.
RV.net is the first RV expert blog to offer fresh content daily from a multitude of well-known outdoor recreation writers and experts, according to an Affinity news release.
Topics range from casino camping to RV maintenance and repair. Its parent site, RV.net, also offers access to RV news and events, RV magazines, campground directory databases and previews of the latest road-tested motorhomes.
Articles from the RV Expert Blog can be delivered to RVers on a daily basis through an RSS feed or directly to their e-mail box.
Through the RV.net site, RVers who join any of Affinity Clubs including the Good Sam Club, Coast to Coast Resorts, President’s Club and Golf Card International will have the opportunity to receive discounts on a variety of merchandise and services.
“RV.net will make it possible for RV enthusiasts on the road, and at home, to have access to the very best RV products and services through its extensive online network,” said Leslie Pfingston, director of Internet marketing, Affinity. “Not only will RVers hear from the experts, they will also be able to support and share ideas with each other through the Open Roads Forum. It’s truly a community for the open road, and that’s what RVing is all about.”
The RV.net team of featured writers will include Gary Bunzer, a recent host of “RV Roadtrips,” the popular DIY Network cable television show and author of “RV Doctor,” a column featured in Family Motor Coaching Magazine; Bob Difley, a regular contributor to Affinity-owned Trailer Life, MotorHome, Highways and the Woodall’s regional magazines; Lynn Difley, writer of the “Healthy Living” column for Woodall’s Regional Publications; Mark Polk, founder of “RV Education 101,” a highly regarded series of DVDs, videos, books and e-books; and Dan Parlow, president and co-founder of mytripjournal.com.
