The American Glamping Association (AGA) is hosting the unofficial kick-off to the Glamping Show Americas today with its Pre-Show Expert Roundtables, which offer a hands-on, interactive learning experience designed to meet the needs of today’s aspiring and established glamping operators.
“We moved away from a traditional lecture structure entirely, and now small groups work through a real glamping property scenario together, live, across site planning, financing and marketing, with experts circulating table to table,” explained Jessica Kirchner, show director for the Glamping Show Americas. “It’s built for people to develop their site-building strategy based on what experts have seen work — not just take notes.”
Sessions on tap for today include:
- Site Planning, with WIll Spurzem, Boundary Works; Whitney Schirauth, Schrauth Architecture & Consulting; Zach Stoltenberg, LJA Engineering
- Financing & Business Planning, with Nick Parker, Live Oak Bank; Paul Bosley, Business Finance Depot
- Marketing Essentials, with Nathan Mayfield, ResNexus
Overall, the conference is expected to draw over 2,000 trade show visitors, with nearly 200 vendors.
