AGS New LogoAGS announced that it is expanding its marketing services in partnership with Evanne Schmarder, one of the most experienced and best known digital marketing practitioners in the campground industry (and a Woodall’s Campground Management columnist and feature writer).

Schmarder, for her part, said she can provide AGS clients with the information, knowledge and tools they need to develop effective branding, digital marketing, and social media marketing plans that can generate additional business for their parks.

AGS and Schmarder have developed several different branding and digital/social media marketing packages, including:

  • A Platform Branding Tune-Up: This service helps parks develop and promote a singular visual “brand identity” that helps guests and prospects recognize their business at a glance. With this service, park operators learn how to differentiate their businesses from other parks while providing a clear, consistent voice across all of their online marketing channels.
  • The Image Package: With this package, park operators can learn how to market their businesses through their website and other visual marketing platforms — such as Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat and Facebook — with photos and videos. It includes a tutorial on how to capture the best images using smartphones as well as reviews editing tools.
  • A Digital Marketing Diagnostic: This service helps park operators find out how visible they are online through an online audit. This in-depth strategy session provides an overview of a park’s digital marketing presence and a snapshot of how the park’s online presence can be improved upon with different strategies, such as platform branding and maximizing images. A preliminary 30-minute phone call will be held prior to analyzing the park’s online presence. Once completed, the park operator will receive a written review of findings and guidance plus a basic action plan for measurement and success. The report will be followed up with a one-hour review and question and answer call.
  • A Strategic Digital Marketing Plan: This package enables park operators to create a strategic action plan to help identify the park’s ideal audience, where best to market to them, posting frequency, content generation ideas, and return on investment (ROI) measurement. Two one-hour phone calls will be held as the plan develops. Parks will receive a written digital marketing plan workbook exclusively for their business.

AGS representatives plan to attend all three national campground industry trade shows in November and will be able to answer park operators’ questions involving the company’s expansion into social media marketing and the cost of its different digital/social media marketing packages. AGS customers who have earned loyalty credits, a program unique to AGS, can apply these credits toward the purchase of digital/social media marketing services.
