Mill Creek Ranch Resort

The Cruise Inn brand of RV parks and resorts announced the addition of the award-winning Mill Creek Ranch Resort in Canton, Texas, to its rapidly growing family. Cruise Inn now totals 14 parks in California, Colorado, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington.

Mill Creek Ranch Resort, which has received numerous awards of excellence and A Ratings over the past several years, is located 60 miles from Dallas on 200 acres of beautiful east Texas woods. The park offers 100 RV sites (both pull-through and back-in), as well as 42 luxurious cottages and cabins to rent and to own as a vacation home. Amenities at the resort include Wi-Fi and cable TV, two swimming pools (one with a hot tub), a pavilion that’s ideal for events for up to 150 people, campground store, fenced-in dog park, playground, paddle boating, walking trails, and basketball and volleyball courts.

Cruise Inn Logo“Cruise Inn has brought a very unique concept to the RV park industry that we were instantly intrigued by. Joining the brand will be a win-win situation for us; we still own and run the park, while enjoying all of Cruise Inn’s resources that will generate increased revenue, profitability and property value for the park,” said Mill Creek General Manager Steve Dye in Cruise Inn’s written announcement.

Scott Anderson, president and CEO of Cruise Inn, said, “Mill Creek Ranch Resort is a top-notch RV Resort, as evidenced by its long list of accolades, and we look forward to taking the resort to an even higher level by providing increased resources, reservation channels and exposure. This is also an important day for Cruise Inn, as we add our first park in Texas and continue our strong, nationwide development.”

Launched in late 2013 by a group of experienced hospitality professionals, Cruise Inn provides membership opportunities to RV park and campground owners and developers. According to Cruise Inn, the network helps its members increase their return on investment through higher guest satisfaction, better revenue/yield management, meaningful loyalty programs, multiple booking channels — including its own — and effective sales and marketing.

According to the network, Cruise Inn focuses on providing key benefits to its members, including low fees, a simple contract, no penalties, a voice and vote in all brand initiatives, member-directed standards and brand policies, innovative technology, training, distribution marketing, worldwide sales and marketing, comprehensive support and a brand powered by trusted industry resources. In addition, Cruise Inn supports its members with a highly qualified team of sales support and assurance program directors who provide sales and marketing support. The team’s mission is to ensure consistent implementation of standards and procedures. Members also benefit from delivered training programs and annual visits that ensure standards are maintained.
