The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) has announced RMS, a fully integrated, cloud-based reservation and property management system, has officially joined the ARVC Integrated Partnership Program as a Select Partner. The partnership will provide education, experiential opportunities and exclusive discounts to ARVC members seeking reservation management software for use at their campground, RV park/resort or glamping business, according to a press release.
As part of the education portion of the partnership, RMS served as the official sponsor of May’s Prospective Owners Workshop (POW), and is set to sponsor the 2022 National School of RV Park and Campground Management. RMS will also be collaborating with ARVC on a study looking at the camping habits of multi-generational campers, which will also include a panel discussion on the same topic at the 2021 Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) in Raleigh, N.C., Nov. 8-11, 2021.
These educational opportunities will provide the ARVC community with valuable insights into reservation management-related topics and best practices to bring the most ROI to a campground, RV park/resort or glamping business, notes the release.
RMS will have a presence throughout the week at OHCE2021 as an expo sponsor and as the sponsor of the OHCE2021 Welcome Reception/Happy Hour, and to provide value for ARVC members throughout the year RMS will join the ARVC Member Benefit Provider (MBP) program and offer a 20% discount for the first year of platform/software for all ARVC campgrounds, RV parks/resorts and glamping businesses.
“RMS has taken an active role in working with ARVC and our members to create opportunities to help our members grow their businesses and this partnership will be a great next step that will be beneficial to all,” stated ARVC’s President and CEO Paul Bambei. “We look forward to working with RMS to research, produce and share vital information with our members to help them better understand the behaviors, interests and demographics of how and why campers plan their stays.”
The RMS product helps businesses simplify day-to-day operations through its all-in-one reservation management solution, eliminating the need to access multiple systems to manage their property or properties, explained the release. RMS’ suite of features allows customers to accomplish many business operations seamlessly, including: managing their business anywhere, anytime, across multiple properties; setting automated pricing rules to maximize bookings and revenue; tracking reservations in real-time through the built-in RMS internet booking engine; creating detailed guest profiles for targeted marketing and correspondence; and collecting and analyzing data across their business with automated reporting.
“We are thrilled to be an official partner of ARVC, allowing us to educate park owners and operators on how to run their businesses efficiently and profitably,” said Fred Dominioni, chief revenue officer. “We look forward to attending ARVC’s Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo each year to gain additional insight into pressing park and campground needs and concerns and determining how we can help solve them. As an official Select Partner, we will have a bigger platform to share our innovative tools with the ARVC community to make their lives easier.”
RMS recently launched a new product, RMS Web, a website development service available to all parks and campgrounds looking to grow their brand and online presence with a professionally designed website that is designed, hosted and managed for them, noted the release.
“At RMS, we truly believe in the concept of software as a service. Our goal is to make customers’ lives easier and to help their businesses succeed. RMS is unique in that the system is highly configurable and scalable to individual property needs, allowing parks and campgrounds of any size and complexity to utilize RMS effectively,” said Dominioni.
