Winkler Returns as Keynote Speaker
Becky Winkler, principal of Green Peak Partners, is this year’s keynote speaker. Her address at the Opening Luncheon on Nov. 28 will focus on how to add value to your business through the people you hire and the sense of community you build.
Winkler is recognized as “a leading expert at helping companies pick the right people” and has coached numerous leaders to achieve peak performance.
In 2010 Winkler led a rigorous study – in collaboration with Cornell University – that resulted in the article “New Study Shows Nice Guys Finish First” being published for the American Management Association, The Washington Post and several other publications.

ARVC Awards Roundup
Each year ARVC recognizes a Supplier Council Member with the Supplier of the Year Award. The supplier must exemplify excellence in product, customer service and support. In addition, they should demonstrate their willingness to go the extra mile for their customers and our industry.
For the first time, ARVC offered its members an opportunity to nominate a Supplier Council member for this award.
The Plan-It Green Award is available to member parks that have taken the Plan-It-Green pledge. Parks that participate in the Plan-It-Green program are qualified to nominate themselves for the Plan-It-Green Award. This prestigious accolade is given in two categories: small/medium parks (250 or fewer sites) and large/mega parks (251+ sites).
The nomination deadline for both the Supplier of the Year Award and the Plan-It-Green Award was Sept. 14.
Award winners, as well as the recipients of ARVC’s coveted park of the year and other honors, will be announced at the ARVC Awards of Excellence Gala on Friday evening, Nov. 30.
