The excitement continues to grow for the expo at the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds‘ (ARVC) upcoming 2021 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) which runs from Nov. 8-11 in Raleigh, N.C., according to ARVC officials.

The excitement is largely due to the return of ARVC’s Hosted Buyer Program, which connects park owners/operators directly with exhibitors offering the products and services that interest them most and, at the same time, offers them a chance to receive a refund on their event registration.

“The Hosted Buyer Program is something ARVC started at OHCE2020, and it was so popular among both attendees and exhibitors, it was a no-brainer to bring it back for an encore this year,” said David Basler, vice president of membership and marketing.

This year’s program will bring qualified decision-makers and exhibitors together through pre-scheduled appointments before and during the Expo. New this year, Hosted Buyers will be in complete control of scheduling their appointments.

RV park/resort, campground and glamping business owners, operators and general managers who are interested in becoming Hosted Buyers can apply while registering for OHCE — the process takes just a few minutes, notes ARVC officials.

One hosted buyer will be accepted per active member-park, and those who are accepted and attend a minimum of six pre-scheduled appointments with exhibitors at the event will have their registration fees refunded. Click here to learn more about being a Hosted Buyer and to register for OHCE.

Joy Brady, owner of The Red Coach Resort in Toney, Ala., and a Hosted Buyer attendee at last year’s OHCE, says the return of investment (ROI) of attending as a Hosted Buyer was “unmatched.”

“This was priceless information, and we have either purchased from or scheduled to use many of the vendors we met with at the expo,” she says. “I really appreciated the opportunity to be a Hosted Buyer.”

For Julie Erskine, of Groveland Oaks Campground in Holly, Mich., the Hosted Buyer Program was a great way to get to know the exhibitors better.

“It was my first time attending the conference last year, so the Hosted Buyer Program was a great way to find out what products and services are available for this industry,” she says. “I was able to connect with companies and find out if their products and services would benefit Groveland Oaks Campground.”

While the expo is always beneficial for attendees, participating in the expo can be a very worthwhile investment for exhibitors too — a recent survey shows that 90% of OHCE attendees purchase from exhibitors at the expo or within six months of the show, explained ARVC officials.

OHCE2021 is Nov. 8-11, 2021, and registration is open now. Register as a Hosted Buyer to take full advantage of what OHCE2021 will have to offer. To reserve a spot as an exhibitor or sponsor of the show, reach out to Gary Headrick or call 303-681-0401 x 130.
