The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds, along with the RV Industry Association (RVIA) and the Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) sent a letter on Wednesday (March 25) to Christopher Krebs, the director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), according to a daily update from ARVC.

The letter outlined key reasons why the RV industry, including private RV parks and campgrounds, should be classified as essential businesses and remain open.

This was necessary because many state and local governments are using CISA’s Critical Infrastructure List as a guideline when determining “essential businesses” in executive orders, noted ARVC.
