The Loveland RV Resort, a Camp Colorado member, will have new ownership following the park’s $3.8 million auction this week, Camp Colorado reported in its current e-newsletter.

The winning bidders are two Fort Collins attorneys, Erik Fisher and David L. Osborn.

A judge is expected on Friday (June 21) to hold a hearing that could bring about a formal sale order, which will lead to a closing in the next few weeks.

“We marketed the property on a national basis,” said David Gilmore of Sperry Van Ness Auction Services, which conducted the auction. “We had a lot of interest from all over the country. We had multiple bids, and we had a high bidder that seems to be paying a fair price.”

The park is fully occupied and generates significant cash, but a dispute arose between the current and former owners, which resulted in the bankruptcy filing and subsequent auction.
