Lake Elsinore, Calif., officials are rebranding a city-owned campground on the shore of the city’s namesake lake in a bid to lure droves of recreation seekers.

The new name? Launch Pointe Recreation Destination & RV Park, according to The Press-Enterprise.

“This name is official,” said Nicole Dailey, a senior management analyst. “However, the city will not be rolling this out actively until our campground rehabilitation project is near completion.”

Underway is a $14 million makeover of the 85-acre campground that is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Until now, the campground has gone by the name La Laguna Resort and Boat Launch.
