With jam circles breaking out everywhere across the Elkview Campground outside Sturgis, S.D., the 34th Annual Black Hills Bluegrass Festival was something of a finger-picking hit on Saturday (June 28), the Rapid City Journal reported.
More than 1,000 people were expected to attend the three day music festival, which is in its fourth year at the campground.
Music kicked off Friday evening and two performances were held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. The festival also featured several workshops for aspiring musicans to come and practice their skills, and wrapped up Sunday around noon.
