Jackson County (Mo.) Parks Director Michele Newman talked with television station WDAF in Kansas City, Mo., about Christmas in the Park which opens Wednesday (Nov. 26) and runs through Dec. 31.
It’s open from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 p.m. through 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the Longview Lake Campground, and features 175 displays with more than 300,000 lights, Newman said.
It’s free, but donations are collected and will be split up among several charities.
