Founder and CEO of CampgroundViews.com Mark Koep will be presenting to leaders of the outdoor industry at the annual Partners Outdoors conference in Washington D.C. that runs May 30-31. As part of the RecX presentations Koep will discuss how 360-degree video is the most powerful tool for “blowing up” occupancy at outdoor destinations.

“We have measured 107% increases in online reservations, sold out entire phases of RV resorts prior to them opening, and created engagement and awareness for hundreds of parks through 360 video,” stated Koep in a press release. “I am excited to present this great technology to the leaders of public agencies in Washington D.C.”

CampgroundViews.com has led the outdoor industry and the 360-degree video production industry by producing over 300 360-degree videos for public and private outdoor destinations across the country. Like Google StreetView for campgrounds the company through 360 video technology allows outdoor travelers to find, see, and tour the campgrounds before ever traveling there.

“We call it prestay familiarity and through this travelers can discover and become acquainted with a destination from anywhere and at anytime, added Koep. “360 video is revolutionary for its scale of reach and ability to expand the visitation for outdoor recreation destinations.”

Koep is one of the many thought leaders selected to present as part of the RecX series of presentations at the annual conference. The gathering occurs during the first week of the summer outdoor season and is attended by representatives from all the major industry associations and top leaders from the federal recreation systems.

The RecX presentations are modeled on the popular TED Talks to provide bite sized chunks of information to key decision makers of the industry. “360 video is revolutionary for the outdoor travel industry and it is an honor to be able to educate the leaders of the industry on this technology,” stated Koep.

Additional scheduled speakers during the two-day event include Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue and Treasury Secretary Wilbur Ross. More information about Partners Outdoors can found on the organizations website at http://funoutdoors.com/.
