Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and Curecanti National Recreation Area in Colorado will both see an increase to campground fees, the U.S. National Park Service told television station KKCO.

South Rim Campground at Black Canyon will increase to $16 from $12 for non-electric sites, and to $22 from $18 for sites with electricity.

North Rim and East Portal campground will increase from $12 to $16.

Black Canyon entrance fees will not change. They remain $15 for a one-to-seven-day pass and $30 for an annual pass. Those who walk or bicycle into the park without a vehicle will be charged $7 for a one-to-seven-day pass.

Elk Creek, Lake Fork, and Stevens Creek campgrounds will increase from $12 to $16 with the electric sites at Elk Creek going up from $18 to $22. Curecanti does not charge an entrance fee.
