2026 Campspot Award Winners

Campspot, a campground software platform and marketplace, announced the winners of the 2026 Campspot Awards today (Feb. 10), recognizing top-performing campgrounds across the United States and Canada. Celebrating its fifth year, the Campspot Awards celebrate the park teams delivering exceptional guest experiences, supported by strong operational execution, differentiated amenities and programming, and marketplace readiness, according to a press release.

Winners were determined through an extensive review of more than 3.3 million data points, including guest ratings, reservation data, park features, the quality of Campspot Marketplace listing pages, and category-specific criteria.

“The Campspot Awards recognize the campgrounds that are consistently getting the fundamentals right, and then going beyond them,” said Jeff Bettin, general manager of Marketplace at Campspot. “These parks show what it looks like to combine a great guest experience with strong execution: thoughtful amenities, intentional programming, and an exceptional on-site experience.”

Recognizing what’s driving performance in today’s camping industry

This year’s winners reflect broader shifts in guest expectations, especially the growing demand for experiences that foster connection. Recent Campspot research shows travelers are increasingly prioritizing reconnection and shared experiences in their 2026 travel plans, and many award-winning parks are meeting that moment through programming, communal amenities, and stay designs that bring people together.

As one of the largest campground marketplaces, Campspot will amplify this year’s winners across its camper community throughout the season, helping more travelers discover parks that are raising the bar and driving demand.

2026 Campspot Awards Highlights:

#1 Top Campground in the U.S.: Camp Fimfo – Texas Hill Country (New Braunfels, Texas)

A one-of-a-kind Hill Country getaway on the Guadalupe River with a resort-style pool scene, plus a swim-up bar, waterslides, and high-energy programming that turns a standard camping weekend into a real vacation.
