CanaDream wants to encourage people to rent RVs in Canada in winter, with the idea that “your RV is a ski chalet on wheels.”

To that end, the company is offering winter RV rental packages, along with suggested itineraries in the ski areas of British Columbia Alberta and Quebec, The Ottawa Citizen reported.

Their winter RVs are insulated, have winter tires, a furnace and a generator, and are presented as being comfortable to -30 C. (-22 F.) They also have secure compartments for storing skis and snowboards.

Worried about finding a campground at this time of year? Go to the website (www.canadream.com/winterrentals) and, in addition to pricing and other details, readers will be directed to a list of campgrounds that remain open in winter and are accessible to RVs.

CanaDream’s “Pillow and Powder” packages are available to March 31 for vehicles picked up and returned to Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal or Halifax.
