As the summer season approaches, Canadians are invited to reconnect with nature, support local businesses and celebrate the great outdoors during Canadian RV & Camping Month, taking place nationwide throughout the month of June 2025, according to a press release.
Hosted by the Canadian Camping and RV Association (CCRVA), Canadian RV & Camping Month is a month-long celebration highlighting the beauty of Canada’s natural landscapes, the importance of time spent outdoors with family and friends, and the unmatched experiences waiting at local campgrounds from coast to coast.
“This year, more than ever, Canadians are looking to travel closer to home — and what better way to explore the best of Canada than by camping in our own backyard,” said Cara Csizmadia, president of CCRVA. “Our campgrounds are ready to welcome everyone — whether you’re a seasoned RVer, first-time camper, or glamping enthusiast.”
Why Camp in June?
June is the ideal time to get outdoors: warm weather, long daylight hours and fewer crowds mean more opportunity to experience Canada’s incredible parks and campgrounds. Participating campgrounds will be offering special promotions, family-friendly activities, and unique events throughout the month, and are eager to welcome campers!
Support Local, Camp Local
With many Canadians choosing to avoid international travel this year, Canadian RV & Camping Month is also a meaningful way to support local campground operators, small businesses and the tourism economy — all while enjoying unforgettable time outdoors.
Camp for a Cause
In partnership with Care Camps, participating campgrounds will also be raising funds to support children with cancer by helping send them to specialized oncology camps across Canada. Campgrounds that sign up to fundraise will receive additional promotional benefits and will be showcased throughout the campaign.
