The Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo, which will run from Jan. 18-21, is offering scholarships to individuals who need assistance to attend the four-day virtual event being hosted by the Canadian Camping & RV Council (CCRVC).
The goal is to get as many people as possible to attend this conference so everyone can benefit, according to CCRVC officials.
Scholarships are limited and the applicant must be a CCRVC member or the person nominated must be a CCRVC member.
The conference is being hosted by the Canadian Camping & RV Council (CCRVC) and is open to CCRVC members for $199 (Canadian). Non-members can get access for $299 (Canadian. Any additional members of a campground or organization that wants to attend the conference can do so for $49 (Canadian) per person.
CCRVC has now extended member pricing for the Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo to campgrounds and RV parks across the United States, reducing pricing to $149 USD for the initial attendee and $39 USD for each additional person from an organization after that.
The Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo will deliver over 45 education sessions and more than 20 workshops across four days, with content facilitated by industry professionals and key players. Agenda session topics vary greatly across four tracks:
- Business & Finance
- Branding & Marketing
- Income Diversification
- Mastering the Fundamentals
Sessions covering accounting, benefits of a franchise, hiring practices, work campers, social media strategies, glamping, dynamic pricing models, insurance, advertising and so much more will showcase all kinds of industry tips, tools, and strategies to better your business. Workshops will provide round-table style discussion opportunities related to specific topics so that attendees can gather and chat together in a group format. These will range from province/region focused workshops to a reservations software comparison panel, one-minute money-makers brainstorming, and more!
Attendees can pick and choose which sessions and workshops pertain to them and build their own schedule across the four-day event. In addition, recorded session content will be available to attendees for 30 days after the conference via the platform, and then to CCRVC member attendees indefinitely afterward with their membership.
Toby O’Rourke, CEO and president of Kampgrounds of America Inc. is set to keynote the conference, Campspot is serving as the conference’s title sponsor.
The Conference will focus on facilitating unique networking opportunities through daily “Coffee & Conversation” sessions each morning, one-to-one video calling between attendees, and other social opportunities throughout. The final day of the event will provide a closing session with some fun entertainment, as well as an announcement of awards recipients.
