CLM Services Corp. has been selected to operate and maintain over 40 campgrounds, group campgrounds, and overnight rental cabins in the Sequoia National Forest and Giant Sequoia National Monument in California, the Potterville Recorder reported.

“The Sequoia National Forest and Giant Sequoia National Monument provide the public an opportunity to experience California’s most spectacular landscapes which span 1.2 million acres,” stated Debra Whitman, acting forest supervisor. “We look forward to continuing our long relationship with CLM as our recreation service partner.”

These government-owned recreation facilities are located in areas ranging in elevation from 2,300 -7,000 feet in the southern Sierra Nevada. The recreation facilities are located from high in elevation between the Kings River in Fresno County, south through Tulare County to the Kern River in Kern County.

CLM is already authorized through special use permits to operate and maintain the facilities that were included in the prospectus. Some facilities that CLM currently operates were not included in the prospectus and will not be included in the new permits. Beginning Feb. 1, 2012, the new permits will go into effect
