CampgroundViews.com continues to expand the number of parks utilizing its Campground Virtual Tours.

CONY Campground Owners of New York (CONY), the trade association for independently owned campgrounds in New York State, is partnering with Campground Views Inc. to provide association members with discounted fees for campground virtual tours, according to a press release.

Campground Views Inc. operates Campground Virtual Tours, proprietary technology it also developed. According to Mark Koep, president and CEO of Campground Views Inc., the virtual tour software is designed specifically for the outdoor hospitality industry and has a large margin of return on investment (ROI).

“Parks that have Campground Virtual Tours on their websites help campers easily see the park, see the roads and see the sites with a clear path to booking,” Koep said. “Park operators have measured over 244% increases in online bookings, drops of 40% for inbound calls and doubling of the length of their stays thanks to this tool.”

CONY members contracting with Campground Views Inc. for its services and products will be afforded a discount through the partnership.

Donald Bennett, Jr., CONY’s president and CEO, is enthusiastic about the opportunities for CONY parks to leverage this technology for marketing programs and profits.

“This partnership will allow our members to save on the cost to create digital content that has been proven to significantly increase revenue for many users,” he explained. “It really fits in with CONY’s mission to help our members with promotion, growth, improvement and development of their businesses.” Campground Views

Since its launch, Campground Virtual Tours have been implemented at almost 1,000 RV parks and campgrounds across the U.S. Campground Views’ focus is to help campers find the right campground, at the perfect time, using the best equipment. For park operators, the company provides a highly valuable tool to improve marketing, guest acquisition, guest experience and operational efficiencies, states the release.

“Our industry is not very good at helping campers make a decision,” Koep notes. “On average, travelers spend about two months visiting 56 websites over 78 different sessions, struggling to get information about parks. Campground Virtual Tours is the perfect solution to this problem. We’re pleased to be partnering with CONY to better position their parks to inform prospective customers and capture their reservations.”

CONY is currently rolling out this new discount program to existing members. New York-based campgrounds not yet members of CONY can visit www.CampNewYork.com to enroll and take advantage the Campground Virtual Tours discounts, as well as a range of other member services and programs.
