A fire engulfed a trailer and damaged five additional campsites last week at a campground in Lower Township in Cape May County, N.J., police said Friday (Oct. 28), according to the Press of Atlantic City.

Police, fire and rescue crews responded at 7:17 a.m. Sunday to the Beachcomber Campground in the Erma section of the township and saw heavy smoke coming from a trailer, police said. A nearby vehicle was also on fire, according to police.

A total of six campsites were damaged, police said. Nobody was injured.
