WCM Fireside Chats, a Zoom/Facebook Live Show that dives into RV park and campground sector news, will be taking a break on Monday (Aug. 3), but is set to resume on Monday, Aug. 10.
Over the course of three months, WCM Fireside Chats has garnered more than 10,000 views on Facebook diving into topics surrounding the current COVID crisis and other issues in the outdoor hospitality industry. On Aug. 10, WCM Fireside Chats will be talking about the impact that the Canadian border closure has had on RV parks and campgrounds that depend on Canadian customers. As well as taking a look at the potential impact on southern parks if Canadian snowbirds can’t make their way south for the winter.
Broadcast on both Zoom and Facebook Live, the show is co-hosted by Ben Quiggle, editor of Woodall’s Campground Management magazine and administrator of WOODALLSCM.com (WCM), a publication focused on providing relevant news and information to RV park and campground owners, and Brian Searl, CEO of Insider Perks, a marketing firm that is focused on serving the outdoor hospitality industry.
Cara Braeutigam, from the Canadian Camping and RV Council, is making regular appearances as WCM works to cover the entire North American RV park and campground sectors. Braeutigam shares her perspective on the Canadian outdoor hospitality industry, along with trends and insights.
