The weather is getting warmer but that doesn’t mean the WCM Fireside Chats will be slowing down anytime soon. Increasing numbers of viewers and a unique opportunity to discuss ongoing industry trends are some of the many reasons these will continue into the summer and beyond.

“We know campground owners have less time during the summer months, but we think our time slot on Monday mornings presents the best ongoing opportunity for them to attend,” said Ben Quiggle, editor of Woodall’s Campground Management, “We’re always looking to involve new voices and look forward to being able to share as much insight and knowledge as possible.”

Attendees are encouraged to register via Zoom, so they can be involved in the discussion. Guests are frequently brought on like a radio call-in show to ask questions and engage with the hosts.

Broadcast on both Zoom and live on WCM’s Facebook page, attendees who want to ask questions or take part in the conversation are encouraged to register and take part as an audience member on Zoom. You can register for Zoom here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN__aSUTbeuQKGWavBbF5UEsQ

WCM also monitors Facebook during the show and can tackle questions brought up on that platform as well.

Guests for the May 18 show will include:

  • Heather Blankenship, Director at Colliers International, ARVC board member, and Chair of the ARVC Young Professionals, will discuss trends in buying/selling parks.
  • Emily Peck, executive director of the Virginia Campground Association, will discuss what’s going on in her state, how the organization is faring, and what the future holds.
  • Donald Miller, General Manager of Cozy Creek Family Campground in Pennsylvania, will share his views from a management perspective and on overcoming new challenges.

The webinars are co-hosted by Ben Quiggle, editor of Woodall’s Campground Management magazine and administrator of WOODALLSCM.com, a publication focused on providing relevant news and information to RV park and campground owners, and Brian Searl, CEO of Insider Perks, a marketing firm that is focused on serving the outdoor hospitality industry.

Cara Braeutigam, from the Canadian Camping and RV Council, is making regular appearances as WCM works to cover the entire North American RV park and campground sectors.

Braeutigam shares her perspective on the Canadian outdoor hospitality industry, along with trends and insights.
