Jackson County (Fla.) tourism leaders hope to attract visitors who want to connect with nature, according to WJHG.
The owners of a boutique Jackson County RV park are hoping those efforts pay off. Matt Goerke and his wife spent COVID traveling through Canada, checking out RV parks as they developed their own idea.
“We had this, 20 acres, because I had a motocross track here, so we decided to turn it into an RV park, and then, we’ve been working on it for years,” Goerke said.
Goerke said he soon went to work transforming a track made for two wheels into a destination spot for six-wheeled motorhomes.
Pike Pond RV Park also has hiking trails and lookout points.
