A portion of event proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

In addition to the three-day tournament, Silver Palms also offered free pickleball clinics for the public on Thursday.

Following Saturday’s competition, the “The Voice” finalist Tom Jackson will perform with his band, the Tom Jackson Band, according to the announcement. Tickets for the performance are $15 per individual or $25 for two.

Presented as part of Pickleball Specialties’ “Circuit of Tournaments,” the tournament celebrates one of America’s fastest-growing games with pickleball courts opening across the country and more than 100,000 active members of the USA Pickleball Association (USPA). Silver Palms RV Resort has 10 professional courts and a growing pickleball community of over-60 players from all levels.

Silver Palms owners and pickleball champions Terry Morais and Bruce Reed said, “We are thrilled to welcome approximately 140 of the area’s top pickleball players, including nearly 30 Silver Palms residents, for what is certain to be a weekend of hard-fought competition.”
