The trails and campgrounds that were closed due to the Anhinga Fire in Florida’s Big Cypress National Preserve reopened Wednesday (March 21) for recreational use.
Pink Jeep, Gator Head and Bear Island campgrounds are open, as are Bear Island Grade Trail, Perocchi Grade Trail and Bear Island Campground Road, according to the Naples Daily News.
The Anhinga Fire reached 3,019 acres and is 90% contained.
