The Bandera County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office got to work evacuating people from parts of the county at 2 a.m. Sunday (May 29), television station KENS reported.

The sheriff’s office beckoned people to get to higher ground as flood waters rose overnight quickly.

According to employees at the Pioneer RV Resort in town, six RVs washed away in the overnight flooding. Only four remained on property.

King noted that several water rescues were executed and multiple vehicles were submerged or carried away by flood waters, but no deaths have been reported.
