Families pulling up in their recreational vehicles to the brand-new Sanctuary RV resort on Bonita Beach Road in Lee County, Fla., will be able to go for a dip in the 2,000-square-foot heated pool, play arcade-style video games in the 5,000-square-foot clubhouse, do their laundry in gas-powered machines, push their kids on the swings, and take their pets to a fenced green area and water fountains, the News-Press reported.
After functioning as a year-round residential park since 1980, Manna Christian Mission RV Park will close today (June 30) for renovations to become a seasonal park that charges higher rates. The Sanctuary Resort Style RVing is slated to open Nov. 1.

“Over the years, flooding has become an increasing difficult issue. The flooding has caused our people to be displaced for weeks at a time. By making the park seasonal, when flooding occurs, it will happen during the summer months when our seasonal guests will not be here,” he wrote.
