The owners of a former RV park at Milford Lake (Kansas) have given it a major makeover and are rebranding this year, in time for the summer rush of travelers, according to AOL.
People visiting the former Flagstop Resort & RV Park this year will find that some big changes have been made to the place. The old park and resort has been officially rebranded as a Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA) travel destination as of April this year, offering people the chance to enjoy the lake area with some added new amenities.
We got in touch with the general manager of the new Milford Lake KOA Holiday this week to find out what people can expect to get out of the park. He said the work to rebrand the location as a KOA took significant time and effort, but the result is new convenience features for visitors.
“We’re doing remodeling on all the RV sites, we’ve got a new bathhouse, we’ve got a laundry facility,” Glennon said.
Glennon said some of the other new amenities include an area for dogs, dubbed the “Paw Pen,” outdoor activities such as sand volleyball and a big jumping pillow. The new deluxe RV areas now come equipped with outdoor furniture and grills to make for a more relaxing experience for guests.
