Brent Callister
RV rental platform RVshare announced that Brent Callister has joined the company as its head of paid-user acquisition.
According to a press release, Callister comes to RVshare after spending four years with Orbitz Worldwide, where he restructured their paid search efforts and managed search engine marketing programs for their hotel business. Callister’s successful implementation and scaling of these programs bolstered the growth which led to Expedia’s $1.6 billion acquisition of Orbitz.
After the Expedia acquisition, Callister led the Orbitz search marketing team through its integration with Expedia’s technology platform and continued to lead the user acquisition efforts for the hotel line of business on the Orbitz platform.
Callister made the jump to RVshare because of its innovative technology and rapid growth.
“I am extremely excited about the technology platform they have built and the impressive growth achieved by such a small team in a quick four years,” Callister says. “I see huge potential in the peer-to-peer rental marketplace they have carved out and I’m excited to help accelerate the growth trajectory of the business even further.”
With Callister’s addition to its rapidly growing team, RVshare plans to expand its position in the RV rental market.
“Brent is a tremendous talent, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him onboard,” says RVshare CEO and co-founder Joel Clark. “RVshare’s traffic and user base are already about double that of the next closest competitors. With the addition of Brent to our team, we plan to expand our market share in the RV travel industry even more rapidly.”
