The Glamping Show Americas hosted a variety of educational sessions and networking events on Tuesday (Sept. 29), the first day of the event, as vendors remained busy.
Hundreds of attendees took part in educational sessions on topics ranging from industry data to creative funding strategies, marketing, wellness, site design and more.
Outside of the conference halls, over 50 unique structures were set up that also attracted attendees. Everything from bell tents, mirrored cabins, park model RVs, domes, and more offered people the chance to see what unique things are happening in this industry.
Today, the show wraps up with more educational sessions and a full-day expo.
Also on Tuesday, the American Glamping Association (AGA) handed out its annual Glamping Awards.
The winners were:
- Innovation & Pioneer Award: Azure Printed Homes — The award recognizes an individual or business that has demonstrated significant innovation and execution with their business in the glamping community.
- Manufacturer of the Year: EJH Distribution — This award recognizes and highlights a commitment to quality, innovation, and setting new standards in luxury outdoor experiences.
- Evergreen Excellence Award: Sage Outdoor Advisory; Flatspot — This award recognizes outstanding contributions from an exceptional product/service/technology that has supported the glamping industry over the past year.
- AGA Member of the Year: ResNexus — This award recognizes exceptional dedication, leadership and innovation in elevating the glamping industry and the American Glamping Association.
- Sarah Dusek Award for Women Entrepreneurs: Leslie Martin, founder of Lagom Retreat in Dripping Springs, Texas — This award recognizes the incredible contributions of women entrepreneurs in the glamping industry.
- Operator of the Year: The Yurtopian — This award recognizes operators who have demonstrated exceptional growth and execution.
