Wellness travel is no longer a niche itinerary add-on, but a central driver of how travelers choose where to stay, what to book, and how they define a restorative trip, according to American Spa.
That’s according to Hilton’s recently released 2027 Trends Report, based on survey data from more than 10K global respondents across age ranges. The hotel giant, in turn, has begun integrating wellness into its upscale, meetings-and-events-focused Signia brand.
For the spa and wellness industry, six major insights from the report reveal that more travelers want experiences that help them reset, reconnect, and bring well-being into their trips.
