The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) continues to build value for its membership by adding Hytropy as its newest Member Benefit Provider (MBP), according to ARVC officials.

Hytropy, led by CEO Patrick Hardy, is one of the most innovative companies in the disaster management industry and is offering its products and services to ARVC members at an exclusive 20% discount. This includes all disaster and emergency preparedness plans, trainings and live exercises.

In addition, attendees of ARVC’s 2019 Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) in Knoxville, Tenn., which runs from Nov. 4-7, can experience first-hand what Hytropy has to offer during a first-of-its-kind and completely interactive “Emergency Response Plan Workshop” on Nov. 4.

The workshop, will be led by Hardy, who is a certified emergency manager, certified risk manager and a FEMA master of exercise practitioner, along with his team of trainers and a group of local first responders.

“The event promises an immersive educational experience for park owners and operators unlike anything they’ve experienced before,” noted officials in a press release. “Each attendee will walk away from the workshop with an emergency response plan they can implement immediately upon returning to their park or campground.”

“This workshop will be a first in the industry,” says Hardy. “This will be something people will be talking about as the highlight of their conference experience.”

In addition, workshop attendees will also receive an emergency response kit to take home and an offer for Hytropy to update their emergency response plan for free for the first three months of 2020.

“Hytropy is a company that brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will help every ARVC-member park, no matter the size, build an emergency plan that fits its needs,” says Paula Horwitz, ARVC’s executive director of education and events. “Patrick has so much energy, passion and knowledge about disaster preparedness and emergency management, and we can’t wait for him to get a chance to share his expertise with our members.”

Hytropy is a disaster management company committed to helping companies prepare for, respond to, and learn from, a disaster. Hytropy creates professional, certified disaster planning for businesses of all sizes.

This Emergency Response Plan Workshop is an add-on experience at OHCE and will provide attendees with a first-hand relatable experience considering the unique elements and needs of an RV park or campground. Attendees can sign up for the Emergency Response Plan workshop along with their OHCE registration or can choose to attend the workshop on its own.

OHCE is a four-day event from Nov. 4-7 in Knoxville, Tenn. and includes more than 40 educational seminars, a trade show with more than 120 vendors, tours of local campgrounds, ARVC’s Awards of Excellence program and more.

ARVC currently has more than 20 companies in its member benefit provider program, offering exclusive discounts to ARVC members on everything from reservation systems and technology, propane, health insurance, equipment and music licensing.
