Non-members are welcome to attend at the non-member rate.
The conference will include facilitated discussion groups, Internet marketing, business management strategies and the latest in risk management.
Attendees will learn the new cost-effective Internet marketing strategies needed to expand their markets as well as management strategies.
Founder of Travelocity and the chairman of kayak.com, Terry Jones will deliver the keynote address on “The Business of Innovation.”
The Outfitter Expo tradeshow will feature the latest products and outfitting equipment at pre-season pricing along with insurance, soft goods, marketing and Internet service providers.
“We deliver high value learning and best practices for outfitters and adventure resort operators to take home to implement in their businesses” said David Brown, AOA executive director.
This year, over 70% of outfitter companies were forced to make changes to their operations to adapt to the contraction in discretionary spending, AOA noted.
