Thanks to the help of dozens of volunteers, Holiday Lights will be ready for public viewing Wednesday (Nov. 22) in Decorah, Iowa.

According to the Decorah Journal, this will be the 13th annual Holiday Lights event held at Pulpit Rock Campground. Holiday Lights is an annual fundraiser for Helping Services for Youth & Families, a nonprofit organization with programs that promote healthier and safer families and youth residing throughout nine counties in northeast Iowa.

Wednesday is the only night visitors can walk through the lights from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Shuttle buses will transport visitors from the nearby city soccer field parking lot to the Holiday Lights entrance.

Visitors are invited to stroll through the light displays with friends, family, neighbors and even pets (on leashes). Donated soups, cookies, hot chocolate and coffee will be available while supplies last. Weather pending, “Pokey Pete” will have rides for kids.
