The Kansas Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (KARVC) will hold its 2009 Spring Fling March 2 and 3 at Topeka’s Capital City KOA, formerly known as Capital City RV Park.
According to KARVC’s recent newsletter, the event will include a social, open discussion cracker barrels on park operations, the annual meeting and an auction. The focus is on having fun while sharing with and growing from one another. Supplier members are invited. David Kepler of Walnut Grove RV Park is the project’s committee chairman.
In recent action, the KARVC board reduced the supplier membership dues and included a supplier member rep’s attendance at the event into their dues.
In other KARVC news, work on the 2009 Kansas RV & Camping Guide is well underway under the direction of Harold Hays of Lawrence/Kansas City KOA. KARVC should be taking delivery of the printed guide by Christmas so that it can begin distributing it at RV shows and events starting in January.
