The New Jersey Campground Owners Association (NJCOA) installed new officers at its Fall Tour meeting in early October, according to a press release.
Dave Benn, Pomona RV Park in Pomona, passed the NJCOA president’s gavel to Karen Kymer of Kymer’s Camping Resort in Branchville. She has been an active member of NJCOA for many years, following in her parent’s footsteps, and is enthusiastic to lead the organization into its 55th year.
Justin Crane, Hospitality Creek Campground & Swim Club in Williamstown, was installed as vice president. Crane also represents the next generation in the family of campground owners. Hospitality Creek was started in 1961 and continues to be a leader in the campground industry in New Jersey.
Anita Pfefferkorn, Indian Rock RV Park & Campground in Jackson, renewed her term as secretary of the NJCOA board of directors and Clayton Taylor, Camp Taylor Campground in Columbia, renewed his term as treasurer.
NJCOA Executive Director Joann DelVescio commented, “I have worked with Karen and Justin for many years on a different level. I appreciate their fresh ideas and outlook on the camping industry in New Jersey.”
