Campers who use ReserveAmerica to make campground reservations now have more than 200 additional campgrounds to choose from, thanks to ReserveAmerica’s recent partnership with Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA).
KOA, the largest system of campgrounds in North America, and ReserveAmerica, the leading outdoor recreation reservation solutions provider in the U.S., have integrated their reservation systems to allow visitors to ReserveAmerica’s reservations website to book camping reservations directly at participating KOA campgrounds, according to a press release.
More than 2,000 KOA camping sites have been reserved using ReserveAmerica since the program was launched in late May.
“This partnership will greatly broaden the camping possibilities for ReserveAmerica visitors,” said John McDonald, ReserveAmerica’s director of marketing and business development. “KOA is famous for providing a quality camping experience for their guests, and we know that we can trust them to take good care of visitors to our reservations website.”
Reservations are confirmed by the KOA campground utilizing KOA’s campground management system, KampSight.
“What really makes this relationship work is the tight integration between both companies’ proprietary technologies. KOA and ReserveAmerica have strong, proven technology systems and linking them together was fairly easy,” said Jef Sutherland, KOA’s vice president of information services.
