The improved campsites will include water, electricity, and sewer utilities to make guests’ visits more convenient as they can bypass stopping on-site to unload waste.
The new configuration will be available beginning Oct. 11; the campsites will rent for $33 per night plus tax, Friday-Saturday, $30 per night plus tax, Sunday-Thursday, April-September, and $25 per night plus tax, Sunday-Thursday, October-March.
“This is a great amenity for the park, which will allow our guests an enhanced experience.” said Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser, whose office oversees Louisiana State Parks. “This is just one of many projects by our state parks staff that will improve our services and make a stay at a Louisiana state park more enjoyable.”
