Guests of Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in Santa Claus, Ind., can experience and enjoy approximately $1.25 million in additions and improvements for the 2016 season, the resort said in a written announcement.
Improvements and additions at the Sun Communities Inc. property include:
- 20 new Holiday Cottages that sleep five to seven people and include a/c and heat, fully furnished kitchens, full baths, two bedrooms, two flat-screen TVs with cable, and a screened-in porch. Lake Rudolph now will have 40 Holiday Cottages.
- 20 new rental golf cars to replace 20 older units. These new electric golf cars utilize the latest electro-magnetic braking technology making them more energy efficient and safer for families. They maintain a common speed up and down hills, and they will not accidentally roll away due to the automatic parking brake that cannot be disengaged. Lake Rudolph offers 200 golf cars for their guests to rent during their stay.
- New and improved state-of-the-art Wi-Fi network that triples the number of access points throughout the 160-acre park. The investment also includes new fiber lines increasing internet bandwidth by 80%. Lake Rudolph provides free Wi-Fi service for its guests.
Located next door to Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, Lake Rudolph features more than 500 family lodging options, including vacation rentals (cabins, rental RVs and cottages), full-hookup RV sites, and tent sites. Lake Rudolph will open daily on April 29. More information and online reservations can be found by visiting LakeRudolph.com.
