“RVing is generally a kid-friendly endevour, but it can sometimes be difficult to determine the best places to visit when you have kids on board,” Lance said in their written announcement. “Obviously the best places to take kids are generally those that have children in mind, or places that cater to people of all ages.”
With that in mind, Lance offered the following suggestions:
• Disney World has been welcoming children and their families since 1971. Walt Disney, the man behind characters such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, was all about celebrating children’s imagination. Stay the night at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, which offers great RV accommodations, such as a privacy enhancing landscape, cable TV, and water, electric, and sewer hook-ups.
• Legoland in Florida has it all and more with more than 50 rides, tons of shows, attractions, shopping, restaurants, and even a botanical garden. Stay just a couple miles away at the Cypress Campground & RV Park. This campground offers 191 RV sites, along with 120 pull-through sites. It provides all the amenities (and then some), such as free mini-golf, horseshoes, a heated pool, full hook-ups, Wi-Fi, and 70 channels of cable.
• Yellowstone National Park is also a great kid-friendly destination. Stay a couple of days at the Fishing Bridge RV campground. This campground offers approximately 340 sites that offer full hookups, designated for hard-side RVs only. This is strictly for your safety because the campground is located near a bear habitat.
