Camping World Holdings Inc. President and CEO Marcus Lemonis said today (June 30) that the company will keep 57 Gander Mountain and Overton’s brand locations in operation that it acquired earlier this year.

Previously, Lemonis indicated the goal was to keep 70 of Gander Mountain’s 160 stores open but pared the number to 57 sites that demonstrated they “have a clear path to profitability,” according to a MarketWatch report.

Gander Mountain filed for bankruptcy in March, placing its retail locations up for sale. Camping World, a subsidiary of Camping World Holdings, alongside a group of firms, bought the company’s assets for about $400 million.

The retail chain, which Lemonis rebranded as Gander Outdoors, span across states including Wisconsin, New York, Texas, Michigan and Florida. Camping World expects to announce additional locations after it decides which stores to expand.
