A Lebanon, Tenn., man is charged with criminal homicide after police say he shot his adult son to death at a town campground Saturday evening (Aug. 1), television station WSMV reported.

Lebanon police said they were responding to a shots fired call at the Timberline Campground on Murfreesboro Road, which is when they found 37-year-old Joseph Dewayne Dies. He had been shot multiple times.

His father, Kirby Dies, is accused of shooting Joseph Dies with a small caliber handgun after getting into an argument with his son.

Police say the father and son both lived at the campground and had been drinking alcohol before the argument.
